UCCS Radio’s Annual Spring Concert<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

March 21st, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hope you\u2019re doing well in the midst of March Madness, but we at the radio station are more than excited to announce our spring concert! The concert will be in Berger Hall and feature our previous Battle of the Bands winners, Flak and Krew, and Crimsuna as our DJ opener.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The date and time for this rocking event is April 4th at 7:00 PM. And the best part is it\u2019s completely free! The concert, the food, the giveaways, and everything else! So make sure you\u2019re there for an absolutely rocking night!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movie Night: The Bee Movie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

March 13th, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UCCS Radio has partnered with the Green Action Fund and the Bug Club for a movie night. Since the Bug Club is with us, we\u2019ll be showing the Bee Movie. We\u2019ll have popcorn, candy, and games where you could win some prizes, like free concert tickets. The movie night is on Wednesday, March 20th<\/sup> at the Farmhouse on the south side of campus. UCCS Radio: 2024 Station of the Year & Best Student Station Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

March 6th, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After an extremely fun and exhausting weekend at the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System Student Media conference in New York, we are unbelievable proud to announce we won, not one, but two IBS awards! Those being: 2024 Best Streaming\/Online Only Radio Station (More than 10,000 Students), and our very own station manager, Caitlyn Branine, won Best Student Station Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are unbelievable proud of these achievements and all the hard work Caitlyn, and the rest of our team has put in to be able to win these awards. As well as huge thanks to everyone who has a show. We wouldn\u2019t have been able to win it without you guys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the train doesn\u2019t stop there. Make sure to keep an eye out on everything UCCS Radio as we have a ton of new ideas and even more ways to cater and make our radio even better for all you Mountain Lions!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone from the Radio team thanks you all for your support and truly never take it for granted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UCCS Radio’s A Break From the Grind Coffeehouse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

January 29th, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join UCCS Radio for another Break From the Grind. We\u2019re turning Clyde\u2019s into a coffeehouse again. If you enjoyed last semester\u2019s coffeehouse, you should come back. This time we have Colorado local artist, Sam Bensaid providing our acoustic live music. The “coffeehouse” is open from 6:30-9:30 PM on Tuesday, February 13th at Clyde\u2019s Gastropub in the University Center. Stop by for a beverage and some live entertainment! We\u2019ll have free coffee and Clyde\u2019s will be open this time so you can order food and other drinks. It even makes for a great date night for Valentine’s Day or Palentine’s Day. It’s perfect for studying and homework, hanging out with friends, or if you just need A Break From the Grind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UCCS Radio’s Rocking Spring Bash<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

January 18th, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have an exciting event coming up in the spring! We’re hosting a spring concert! With multiple local artists playing (which will be announced soon. Stay tuned!) It’s even better than any other concert because its free! Free food, free entry, and possibly even free tickets to other concerts! The date is still to be determined in April but make sure you stay tuned for updates as there may be some giveaways leading up to the event!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, make sure to watch out for our other events happening this semester!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
